Biography
I am a PhD Candidate in Development Economics at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), the Netherlands. My research focuses on evaluating the impact of cash transfer programme on community dynamics and forest conservation in Rwanda. My broader research interests include development economics, impact evaluation, macroeconometrics, social networks, environmental conservation, and the application of econometric and machine learning methods to inform public policy. Prior to joining WUR, I worked as a Research and Policy Analyst at the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA). I hold an MSc in Applied Quantitative Economics and a BSc in Monetary Economics. I also gained international academic experience through the Erasmus+ Exchange Programme at Kiel University, Germany, where I participated in the Advanced Studies Program at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
