JPR (Reinier) de Vries

I am a lecturer at the Plant Ecology & Nature Conservation (PEN) group. I study the biodiversity and ecosystem services of grasslands: how do they relate to land use intensity, and thereby with farmers' interests? With this research I aim to contribute to a sustainable and biodiversity-friendly management of grasslands, which form the habitat of an exceptional number of plant and invertebrate species.
