Biography
Biography
My work derives from the perspective that nature is inherently cultural. I am interested in how humans, animals and landscapes co-constitute each other through shared histories. As a lecturer and researcher, I situate myself in the field of Historical Animal Geography based on more-than-human approaches that disband nature-culture dichotomies. I am fascinated by historical human-animal relationships arising from the complex interactions between matter, space/place, humans, and non-humans, and how these serve as a legacy for contemporary human-animal interactions.
