Biography
I am an Assistant Professor at the Development Economics Group. I study how political power and distributive conflict shape institutions and inform development, as well as how rural populations in developing countries cope with various constraints. To this end, my research combines microeconomic theory with a range of applied methods. I also teach political economy and microeconomics at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
