Camilo Alexander Léon Sánchez is a researcher specializing in geomatics, 3D city models, and spatiotemporal data infrastructures. He earned a BSc in Cadastre Engineering and Geodesy from the Francisco José de Caldas District University in 2006. He subsequently completed an MSc in Geodesy and Geoinformation Sciences at the Berlin Institute of Technology in 2013, defending the thesis Estimation of Electric Energy Demand using 3D City Models. He holds a second MSc in Information Sciences and Communications from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, where his research evaluated digital techniques for coffee crop identification using multispectral imagery.
