Learn about this course
Regenerative agriculture takes more than one farm: it requires systems thinking at a landscape scale. In this Lab, we will explore these topics in a very challenging context with our Lighthouse Farm La Junquera in southern Spain. This farm is positioned in Murcia, where dryland agriculture requires imagination, entrepreneurship and long-term thinking. This Lab immerses you in large-scale organic and regenerative systems that operate under extreme weather conditions, in a remote community that is has rural depopulation and limited market access. You will experience both the ecological and social dimensions of rebuilding landscapes and communities.
For who is this course fitting?
This course is for professionals involved in:
Regenerative agriculture, dryland farming, landscape restoration
Social innovation, rural development and community-building
Corporate sustainability, strategy and investment in land-use systems, particularly looking at regenerative agriculture
